He held the Dutch caps record from October 22, 1908 (when he (and Bok de Korver) equalled the total of Ben Stom) until April 2, 1911 (when his total was surpassed by Bok de Korver). (He had previously shared the record from April 30, 1905 until April 29, 1906.) He held the Dutch caps record for goalkeepers from April 30, 1905 (the first ever Dutch international match) until June 9, 1919 (when his total was surpassed by Just Göbel).
