Kessler Brothers

The brother pair of Tonny and Dé Kessler played one match together for the Dutch national team. They were the first ever brother pair to do so, and that in a famous match: the first ever win of the Netherlands against England, albeit the Amateur side (so it is no official international match for England), who were beaten 2-1 at Houtrust in what probably was the best performance of a Dutch team in the first half of the twentieth century.

Together the two brothers obtained 24 Dutch caps (Tonny 3, Dé 21), scoring 10 goals (Tonny 1, Dé 9). Below we list the only match of the Dutch national team in which both brothers played.
