Bohemians AFK Vršovice (Praha) Tour of Australia 1927

Prague-based club Bohemians AFK Vršovice (currently known as Bohemians 1905) toured Australia in 1927, playing three 'Test matches' against Australia's national team and two matches against an Australian XI, along with regional tour matches vs State and regional representative teams. The two goalkeepers were guest players: Kulda from Rapid Vinohrady and Šejbl from Bubeneč. The team was generally referred to as simply 'the Czechoslovakian team' by the Australian media. The team was presented with two wallabies as a gift from the Queensland Government; since this tour the club's crest features a wallaby (although it is often interpreted as a kangaroo).
