The matches are not considered official full internationals by any of the three countries. However, the Netherlands (who played this tournament as Netherlands B) and Luxembourg teams consisted of virtually the same personnel that played full internationals in this period and at the Olympic Games in 1948, and the England team included several players who featured in the Great Britain (amateur) team at the Olympics. The matches at the Olympics 1948 are considered official full internationals by the KNVB (despite the opposition in one match being Great Britain Amateurs), so it is perhaps inconsistent that the matches from this amateur triangular tournament are not considered official.
Many thanks to Evert Vermeer for additional data, in particular the line-up of the Netherlands against Luxembourg
