       The Faroe Islands finished in 6th and final position in Group 9 with a record of 0 wins,
       3 draws, 7 losses, 3 points and a goal difference of -13. They scored 4 goals and conceded 17.
       The Czech Republic won all 10 matches in Group 9 and qualified for the 2000 European
       Championships in Belgium and the Netherlands. Scotland (5 wins, 3 draws, 2 losses, 18 points)
       advanced to the play-offs.
       The qualifying draw for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea was held on Tuesday,
       7 December 1999 at the International Forum in Tokyo, Japan. The Faroe Islands were assigned
