Java Tour of Manila 1927

The Manila team to tour Java in spring 1927 contained 5 "bondsspelers" (i.e. players likely to have been included in a full representative side of the city), viz. Bascal (the 'keeper), Cui (defender), Medina (midfielder, or half back as it was called then) and Pacheco und Ugarte (both forwards), all five from Manila Sporting Goods, league runners-up behind Bohemian.
The tour was organised by Batavia club side B.V.C.
