Mexico 1918/19

Before the start of the tournament, Club Asturias (founded on Feb. 7, 1918) request for
enter to the league.

Originally the league accepted the request, two test matches were scheduled as part of the
requirements.

First test match
[Aug 11, 1918]
Centro Unión 0-0 Asturias

Second test match
[Sep 8]
Tigres unk Asturias

However, surprisingly, Asturias' request was rejected, instead, España de Veracruz (filial
of Club España) was included; actually, España de Veracruz was really the team "B" of
Club España, because in the papers of the time, referred to the team as "Españita".

Club Asturias decided to form its own league called "Unión Nacional de Aficionados de
Association Foot-ball", inviting other teams from Mexico City as Cataluña, San Cosme,
Blanco y Negro, ABC and Águila (Pachuca).
