Niger 2002

National league:

In March the Fédération Nigérienne de Football (FENIFOOT) decided to
cancel the championship because of lack of money, but they meanwhile
reconsidered and a championship will be organised after all.

AS Niamey were inscribed in the African Champions League 2003,
Akokana (Agadèz) in the African Cup Winners Cup 2003,
no team in the CAF Cup.  However, no cup competition was organised
and presumably also no league.
