FK Austria and WAC formed a Spielgemeinschaft at the end of the season.

SK Sturm Graz also should have been relegated, but the club protested
against this on the grounds of an irregular finish of the championship due 
to animal epidemic in the east of Austria, and they were allowed to remain 
at the first level.
