Selangor Tour of New Zealand 1978

Selangor were the holders of the Malaysia Cup when they visited New Zealand in 1978. The trip to New Zealand was part of a wider tour that saw Selangor play teams from the Pacific Islands, the US and Hong Kong.

Team

It was reported that ten members of Selangor's squad were part of the Malaysian
national team that had earlier in the year held England B to a 1-1 draw.

Mokhtar Dahari, who was recovering from a foot injury, played only 25 minutes
during the tour.
