Spain - List of Second Division Champions


The Segunda División (Second Division) is the lower tier of the two professional football leagues in Spain. From the season 2008–09 onwards, for sponsorship reasons the official name is Liga Adelante.
This championship was created in 1929 by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Since 1983 this is organized by the LFP.

  Ceuta (Spain). It merged with other clubs from Ceuta into Agrupación Deportiva Ceuta.
- CD Málaga has disappeared. Málaga CF is a different team, founded in 1994.
- Burgos CF and Real Burgos CF have disappeared, new Burgos CF appeared in 1994.
- Real Zaragoza CD now is Real Zaragoza.
- AD Almería has disappeared. UD Almería is a different team, founded in 2001.
- Castilla CF now is Real Madrid CF B.
- RCD Español now is RCD Espanyol de Barcelona
