NB: the first championship of 1973/74, won by Oroba (later renamed Sharjah)
was declared to have been official in 2001 by the FA; before it had been
considered a 'trial' championship by the FA, which had been established
just before (1972).
Note: Super League championship used to be played after the regular season
between the top six sides in the championship. The 2002 and 2003
editions (Super Cup) involved the top four.
