Canada - Canadian Professional Soccer League

This was Canada's first recent attempt to establish a truly major national
league, inspired by the (then waning) success of the NASL. The league was
started in 1983, but only lasted for a single season. Many thanks to Mark
Pollak (mpollak@counsel.com) and Bill Ault (mornet14@glen-net.ca) for providing
this information.
