NB: 16 teams participate in this regional league; of these,
    5 also play in the national championship (Arbil, Duhok,
    Pires, Zakho and Kirkuk)

from Duhok (5): Duhok, Mateen, Pires, Zakho, Sumil;
from Sulaimania (0): Sulaimania declined the invitation
from Kirkuk (4): Kirkuk, Himrin, Sulaf, Kiwan.

NB: although Sulaimania officially is part of the territory they
    declined to participate, while 4 clubs from Kirkuk entered
    though the area is not part of Kurdistan.
