The Federación Madrileña de Foot-Ball was founded in 1903, with the teams of Madrid. In 1913 was re-built, with the name of Federación Castellana de Fútbol, and included clubs of the neighbour provinces (Avila, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Segovia and Toledo).
They organized the "Campeonato Centro".
It was also a qualifying phase of the Spanish Cup.

1) Real Madrid was founded in 1902 under the name of "Madrid Foot-Ball Club". In 1920 they received sponsorship of the King of Spain, and changed name to "Real Madrid FC". In 1931-39 (Spanish Second Repubic) the club was again called Madrid FC. In 1939-41 they reverted again to Real Madrid FC" and, from 1941 on the official name is "Real Madrid CF" 2) "Athletic Club de Madrid" was founded in 1903 by supporters of Athletic de Bilbao. In 1939 it merged with Aviación Nacional, a military team founded during the Spanish Civil War, and was called "Athletic Aviación". In 1941 it changed to "Atlético Aviación", and in 1946 to "Club Atlético de Madrid"
