    CONCACAF Champions League 2008/09

CONCACAF makes a second attempt to establish a "Champions League", after the aborted one in 2002 (which was eventually played in a knock-out format). It will feature 24 clubs: 4 from both Mexico and the USA, 2 from each of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama, and 1 from Belize, Canada and Nicaragua, as well as 3 Caribbean clubs.
