[*] SK Vorwärts Steyr have won their appeal for a license
to play in Bundesliga next season; they will however start
the season with -3 points. SC Spittal and SCR Altach have
taken this affair to civil courts. After a neutral sports
court had first ruled in favour of Spittal, and the board
of the Austrian league had admitted them in as 11th team,
a congregation of all professional clubs voted to keep the
10-team first division and relegated Spittal again to the
second level (the only team voting in their favour were
    Spittal themselves).

[+] after the season, SV Gerasdorf merged with VSE Sankt Pölten to
form FC Niederösterreich, playing in Sankt Pölten.
