Faroe Islands - List of Cup Finals


The cup competition was open to first level teams only from 1955 to 1978; since 1979 clubs form all four divisions can enter. All finals from 1979 to 1999 were played at Gundadalur Stadium (on artificial grass) in Tórshavn; since 2000 finals are played on a natural grass surface at Tórsvřllur Stadium in Tórshavn.

Trivia: from 1984 to 2004, the cup was either won by HB or by the
          club eliminating HB, with one exception: in 1994 B71
          eliminated HB but lost the final to KÍ;
        record cup result (overall): HB 22-0 Skansin (1995; 
          Skansin were a fourth division team from Tórshavn);
        record cup loss for HB: TB 6-2 HB (in 1977);
        Víkingur won their first three cups by defeating EB/Streymur
          in the final; their opponents played 7 consecutive finals
          between 2007 and 2013, winning all except those against
          Víkingur
