Guyana Cup Winners

Kashif & Shanghai Knockout Tournament

This is currently the most important cup tournament, played in December 
and January every season.  The first two editions were restricted to 
teams from Linden (4 participants 1990/91; in 1991/92 all seven clubs 
from Linden entered); since 1992/93 teams from outside Linden (or
indeed Guyana) can also enter.

Brazilian Challenge Cup

NB: in 1973 the Brazilian Ambassador to Guyana decided to
    donate a trophy (Brazilian Challenge Cup) that was to
    be contested for annually between Pele and Santos; 
    afterwards that Ambassador got posted elsewhere and it
    was never contested again after 1973
