Panama - List of Champions

A national league was first formed in 1933 after the merger of the Liga Nacional (which covered the capital Ciudad de Panamá) and the Liga Atlántica. The first organised league was the Isthmian League, created 1921, whose inaugural winners were Standard Oval; in 1925 the Liga Nacional de Football was formed, with 6 participants and inaugural winners Panamá Hardware.

The Asociación Nacional Pro Fútbol (ANAPROF) was formed in 1988.
