Kor Royal Cup (aka King's Trophy) NB: this was the official club championship up to and including 1995; after the introduction of the Premier League in 1996, the trophy has been played for in a sort of super cup format, usually in the year following the league season (so e.g. the 1998 final was played on April 10, 1999). Since 2005 (final January 24, 2006) the trophy was contested between the league champions and their runners-up (later replaced by the Thai FA Cup winners). Since 2016, it is not played for anymore, but presented to the Thai League winners, thus again becoming the top domestic trophy. As a "super cup" tournament, it was succeeded by the Thailand Champions Cup.
